How to Use Seedance 2.5 in ArtCraft: Settings, Limits and Cost

Seedance 2.5 is the newest video model in ArtCraft’s catalog, and the official site now lists it first. “ArtCraft Seedance 2.5” has become a search term of its own. Seedance 2.5 settings in ArtCraft
From ArtCraft’s request builder for Seedance 2.5:
- Duration: 4–30 seconds. That’s twice the 4–15 s range of the 2.0 family. Values outside the range are clamped.
- Resolution: 480p, 720p or 1080p.
- Start and end frames. Give a start frame, or a start and an end frame, to control how the shot begins and lands. An end frame requires a start frame.
- Reference media. Attach reference images or videos to guide motion and style. You can’t combine keyframes with reference media in the same request: use one or the other.
- One video per request. No batching.
How to generate a Seedance 2.5 video in ArtCraft
- Install ArtCraft from getartcraft.com (macOS or Windows), or open the browser version at app.getartcraft.com.
- Build your shot. This is where ArtCraft differs from prompt-only sites: compose the first frame on the 2D canvas or stage it in 3D with posed characters and a camera, then render it as an image.
- Switch to video, pick Seedance 2.5 in the model menu, and use your image as the start frame. Optionally add an end frame.
- Choose resolution and duration, write a motion prompt (camera move, action, mood), and generate.
- Finish the edit in FilmCraft, the free Premiere-style editor from the same team. It runs in your browser too.
What does Seedance 2.5 cost in ArtCraft?
ArtCraft credits equal US cents (100 credits = $1). The per-second rates in ArtCraft’s source code, before any plan discount, are:

Seedance 2.5 Preview costs more: about 21.4 credits/s at 480p and 42.8 credits/s at 720p. With reference videos, Seedance 2.5 uses a different rate card that also bills the seconds of reference video you feed in.
For scale, ArtCraft’s Basic plan ($10/month) includes 1,000 credits, about seven 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clips. Pro ($35/month) includes 3,750 credits and Max ($60/month) 6,600. Tips for better Seedance 2.5 results
- Lock the first frame. Seedance follows a strong start frame closely. Spend your effort on composition in ArtCraft’s 3D or 2D tools, not on re-rolling.
- Use start + end frames for shots that must land somewhere specific, such as a product reveal or a character reaching a mark.
- Draft at 480p, finish at 1080p. 480p costs about a quarter as much per second as 1080p.
- Go long only when you need it. 30-second clips are possible, but cost scales linearly with duration.
- Prefer references for style, keyframes for blocking. You can’t use both in one request.

Is Seedance 2.5 free in ArtCraft? No. Hosted Seedance generations use credits. ArtCraft itself is free and open source.
Can I use Seedance 2.5 in the ArtCraft browser version? The web studio at app.getartcraft.com offers the same hosted models; availability can differ by region.
Is Seedance 2.5 better than Seedance 2.0? It allows much longer clips (up to 30 s) and is the newest model. 2.0 still offers 4K output and batching, so it can be the better choice for short 4K shots.
